The Dalponte family manages this charming hotel in Corvara with integrity and character. Completely renovated in 2008, La Tambra’s simple and modern lines, amber-coloured wood, and permeating scent of crisp, mountain air are sure to delight one and all. In the Ladin tradition, a tambra was a barn located at a high altitude where families would gather when feeding the animals in the summer. The simplicity of these actions still lives in our spirit and in our philosophy of hospitality.

In keeping with our philosophy, all of the meals we serve are prepared with natural and authentic products, most of which are local. We choose fresh, seasonal food and follow ancient recipes from Ladin cuisine: this effective combination makes our dishes as delicious as they are genuine. Since 2010 listed in the Michelin Guide; since 2014 also listed in the Espresso Restaurant Guide.
